But who is Simone Moro?

Born in Bergamo on 27 October 1967, began as a young man to attend and learn about the mountains. First walking trails with his family during the summer holidays, then climbing with his father and at the age of 13 he started climbing in a crag on Orobie. In 1985 he participated in the first climbing competition in Bardonecchia. Forthe next five years and was competing in sport climbing at international level, so he got into the Italian national team in 1988, and was the coach until 1996. Also, his love for the high altitudes led him to become a private pilot and commercial helicopter rating on the turbine model AS 350 B2. Among the other things, he has had time to write two books: "Comet on Annapurna" and "8000 meters of living."
